This is John Prekrasnyĭ broadcasting from my car stuck in the constipated traffic of Moscow on my way from my country dacha. In case you missed Friday’s RCS, we talked all about you. Ok, we really didn’t, but we had important information that talked about. First order of business was the passing out of The Shorthorn. Last Wednesday, Premier Trish, Minister Pasha, and Prekrasnyĭ passed out 250 Shorthorn papers in very good timing. In case you do not know why we are passing out The Shorthorn is so that we can put in an ad for the showing of the documentary “The Virginity”. Minister Pasha demonstrated his great technique of “handing out” papers. In the picture below, Minister Pasha shows how to “hand” out papers to Prekrasnyĭ.
Now I laid down a challenged to the RCS, if we can pass out all the papers everyday next week, for Ruskii Stol, I will do something fun for the group. (*coughing* so I would not miss the next Ruskii Stol if I were you.) Now the times that we are going to pass out The Shorthorn is going to be the times:
Monday and Wednesday: 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Tuesday and Thursday: 11:00 pm – 12:00 pm
If you can pass out papers, we ask that we meet in front of Trimble Hall Rm. 200 at those times. When we passed out the papers last Wednesday with three of us, it only took 20 minutes, tops. We would love for all of you to join us in helping us with this project.
This is a reminder; We are going to having the showing of the documentary “The Virginity”, a film by Vitaly Manskiy on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 in University Hall Rm. 108 at 5:00 pm with our special guest, Mr. Manskiy. Please tell all you fellow classmates, friends, frienemies, people that you pass on the way to class, and even the cashiers at your local bookstores.

Today we voted on our official RCS t-shirt. The winning design is the picture to the left with modifications to be done by Kelsey “Грoзная”.
Pasha, Jean, and Vitaly showed us clips of last week’s Ruskii Stol game of Russian Trivial Pursuit. For those that missed it, you missed perhaps the greatest and funniest game we had so far in my greatest opinion. We showed pictures of Dr. Harrison in younger days, cartoons, video of the worst intersection in the world, and many more. This next week’s game is going to be “Apples to Apples”. This game is geared to helping you in this chapter of Intensive Russian 1-2. But this game is not only for beginners, but for all levels of Russian speakers. Make sure you make it this week’s Ruskii Stol for the game and for a special surprise by me, Prekrasnyĭ.
Our great RCS friend, Chris Burgin brought by boxes and broachers for the Shoebox Christmas program. If you like to participate in this wonderful charity or have questions please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will gladly pass the message along.
On a totally different note, Jean has invited us to a Halloween party to be held at her place on Friday, Oct. 29 at 7:30 pm. For directions and the address, email us at email@example.com.
It looks like traffic is moving, so this is John Prekrasnyĭ signing off an inch farther then I was earlier.
P.S. If you want to feel like you were actually there at the meeting, picture yourself in the pictures below.
